Termly CPD sessions

Join us online for a termly CPD session where we will explore activities for the classroom and give you the opportunity to connect with other teachers.

Share music at home

Children will be able to share their learning at home with a selection of films, recordings and activities via a unique link.

Put on your own performance

Use our scripts, backing tracks and scores to enable your class to put on their own performance and share their learning with an audience.

Every teacher a music teacher

For many of our activities you can choose to:

  • follow a teaching film with one of Aurora’s workshop leaders, or
  • lead the activity yourself, using Aurora’s audio recordings and file downloads

This unique feature provides pathways for teachers who want to explore delivering music themselves for the first time, as well as hundreds of creative ideas for experienced music teachers.

Mapped against the national curriculum

  • Mapped against the national curriculum and the Model Music Curriculum, our schemes of work are accompanied with ‘at a glance’ mapping documents to summarise what is covered each week and show progression.
  • We have also provided a programme summary document which details how the resources are sequenced and will support you through the Ofsted ‘deep dive’ process.
  • Every activity and lesson plan includes a summary of learning objectives covered which can be downloaded as a PDF. Assessment frameworks are also provided.
